October 14, 2014 – Indianapolis – Methodist Sports Medicine orthopedic surgeon Thomas Klootwyk is a featured lecturer at the second annual Robert Lockwood, MD, Endowed Lectureship in Orthopedic Surgery, at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. Dr. Klootwyk, who specializes in knee reconstruction, arthroscopic knee surgery, and orthopedic sports medicine will present “The Evolution of Sports Medicine and the Current Role of the NFL Physician” at Weiskotten Hall at 5:00 p.m. on October 14.

Dr. Klootwyk, is a 1991 graduate of State University of New York’s Orthopedic residency program and is currently a team physician and orthopedic consultant for the Indianapolis Colts, Indiana State University Athletics, and Fishers High School Athletics. The event is presented by the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Upstate Medical University.
