November 5, 2014 – Indianapolis – Patients and visitors arriving at Methodist Sports Medicine’s Indianapolis – Carmel location will notice some modifications at the front desk check- in area and an expanded open air space for those receiving physical therapy and rehabilitation care. Additional space for physician exam rooms has been added to the first floor location at 201 Pennsylvania Parkway, which the practice opened in 2010.
“As our practice and patient populations continue to grow, we need to ensure that they always have an excellent experience,” said Methodist Sports Medicine President, Peter Sallay, MD. “More efficient and comfortable ways for patients to flow in and out of our examination rooms and into our therapy spaces can only improve their experience and speed their return to an active lifestyle. These changes at our north location will enable us to continue to provide the best care possible.”
Upon arriving at Suite 100, new patients and walk-in patients will find a greeter at a new check-in station to help direct them during their visit. Returning patients for physical therapy will be directed to a new check-in area with an open concept leading into the newly renovated Physical & Occupational Therapy space which has expanded by an additional 1200 square feet. The relocation of the physical therapy check-in and check-out desk will ease patient traffic flow at the practices’ main entrance.
As Methodist Sports Medicine grows to meet the demands of a population in need of superior orthopedic sports medicine care, these improvements along with the new set of physician exam rooms have been added allowing us to continue to serve our patients most effectively.
